The Whale’s Tail Beach Bar and Grill is conveniently located right on the beach! This unique establishment caters to all who desire breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can enjoy their meals outside in the surf, on the lower deck on the beach, or in the comfort of the indoors. The Whale’s Tail also offers beach side bar service, and this bar is famous for its frozen tropical drinks and cocktails.

The Whale’s Tail serves the Seascape Resort exclusively and has served as a Destin landmark for more than 30 years now. The restaurant is accessed via an elevated walkway that goes over Scenic Highway 98 and provides easy and safe access from the Seaside resort accommodations.

On the menu for lunch and dinner at the Whale’s Tail is fish, chicken, burgers, chicken fingers, hot dogs, grilled ham and cheese, and BLT. Breakfast seekers will find classic breakfast items on the Whale’s Tail menu including eggs, bacon, omelets, French toast, fruit, cereal, and more. The food is quick and easy on the beach in Destin at the Whale’s Tail.

The Whale’s Tail at Seascape Resort is open from 7:00 a.m. daily, and if you want to take home some authentic Destin souvenirs, stop by the Whale’s Tail Gift Shop where you’ll also find apparel and beach supplies.
